Who this policy covers
TheWEBloom is an independent web studio operating under the TheWEBloom brand. The contracting party for paid work is identified on the applicable proposal, statement of work or invoice. Privacy questions can be sent to info@thewebloom.com.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to submit, such as your name, company, email address, optional phone number, country, industry, website URL, budget range, project details and account information. Client portal users also create authentication records. We may keep invoice status, project files and service communications. We do not collect card or bank credentials through this website.
How we use it
We use information to respond to inquiries, assess project fit, provide proposals, deliver contracted services, operate client accounts, send service and security emails, keep business records, prevent abuse and improve the website. We do not sell personal information.
Legal bases
Where UK/EU data-protection law applies, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to perform a contract, to comply with legal obligations, or for legitimate interests such as responding to business inquiries and securing our services. Consent is used where the law specifically requires it.
Processors and international transfers
We use service providers such as Hostinger for hosting, Supabase/PostgreSQL for database and authentication, Resend for transactional email and Payoneer for payment requests. These providers may process information in different countries under their own terms and safeguards.
Cookies and authentication
The site may use strictly necessary cookies for authentication, security and session continuity. We do not currently run advertising cookies or behavioural advertising trackers. See our Cookie Policy.
Retention
Inquiry and project records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, business records, dispute handling and legal obligations. You may ask us to review or delete information that is no longer required.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing, or request a portable copy of information. Contact us at info@thewebloom.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections and service-provider security features designed to protect information. No internet system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
TheWEBloom is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children.
Changes
We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The date above will be updated when material changes are made.
This policy is an operational privacy notice, not legal advice. TheWEBloom should obtain jurisdiction-specific legal review as the business formalises or adds new tracking, advertising or data-processing activities.
